Your visit to our office is designed to determine if chiropractic care will benefit you. The first step is to learn about your health history. This is accomplished with an easy-to-fill-out history overview form. To save time on your first visit, this form can be downloaded from this web site.
When this is completed, you and Dr. Hamilton will take time to sit down and discuss your health problems and concerns. Once your problem is understood, Dr. Hamilton will examine your spine to determine if it is related to your complaint. Dr. Hamilton will explain his findings as you're examined. He will answer any questions as they arise. If your problem appears to be spinal related, x-rays will then be ordered and taken in the office. At this point, your visit is almost completed. Depending on what is appropriate for your case, you will either be placed on therapy in the office or home instructions will be given to help address your complaint.
Allow 45 to 75 minutes for your first visit. This allows you and Dr. Hamilton time to discuss your health concerns in a quiet, non-hurried, relaxed environment.
Before you return for your next visit, Dr. Hamilton will sit down and review the information you gave him and correlate it with your exam and x-ray findings. On your second visit, you and Dr. Hamilton will take time to look over your findings together and discuss how it relates with your problem. If Dr. Hamilton thinks he can help you, he will explain what will need to be done and treatment will begin at that point.
